Michael grew up in New Jersey and decided to move down to South Florida to attend Florida Atlantic University (FAU).  Michael graduated from FAU with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a minor in Finance, as well as a Masters of Accounting. After completing his Masters degree, Michael went on to obtain his CPA License in the state of Florida.  

Prior to joining LerroSarbey, Michael held multiple accounting & finance positions at large multinational companies where he developed a broad skill set across various industries. He started his career in public accounting as an auditor at Ernst & Young where he served both non-public and public corporations that were in the technology, healthcare, or private aviation industries. He then left public accounting to industry where he further developed his finance skills around budgeting, forecasting, key performance indicators (KPIs) development, investment case development, and more.

Michael joined the firm in 2022 and currently serves as the Managing Director of Operations where he works closely with the leaders of the firm to develop strategy and set the direction for the firm’s future profitability and growth.  He also oversees the firm’s policies, procedures, HR functions, and internal financial reporting.
