Mark S. Baker is a tax and accounting professional whose business career spans over forty years in South Florida. Mark works with a diverse client base of high-net-worth Individuals and is highly regarded for his expertise in the area of individual and closely-held business tax planning and preparation, multi-state returns, trusts, estates and gift and non-resident alien returns.

Mark is a graduate of Florida International University with a Masters of Science in Taxation degree from that institution, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida. He is a licensed CPA in the State of Florida and holds membership in the American Institute of CPAs and the Florida Institute of CPAs.

Mark began his career with CCH Computax, Inc (now Prosystem FX), the publisher of one of the most respected tax research and return preparation software companies in the Country. During his eight years with CCH, Mark progressed to the position of Tax Director of the Florida Branch and was responsible for the technical support and customer service departments.

Marks career as a CPA began in 1992 working with Adair, Fuller, Witcher and Malcom, CPAs. Mark and his partners formed Malcom and Baker, CPAs & Associates, Inc in 2004 where he progressed to President and sole owner of the firm prior to merging with LerroSarbey in January of 2023.

Mark developed his practice through service to the community as a board member, officer and President for the Commerce Club of Fort Lauderdale, Inc. Mark is a graduate of Leadership Broward Foundation’s Class XVIII. Mark served as a board member for the Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theatre after chairing the Leadership Broward Focus group for the theatre.
