Deborah is a graduate of Emory University with over 25 years of experience in public/private accounting and private industry. Deborah directly oversees attestation and risk advisory engagements for the firm. Engagements include internal control assessments, due diligence, and consulting, including system and process controls projects, as well as traditional financial attestation engagements for companies of various sizes.
Deborah has also served as a finance, accounting, information technology, and operations executive for both emerging and global Fortune 100 companies in the information technology, business process outsourcing, consumer and business services, CPG, and retail industries. Deborah was VP and Managing Director for Consumer Industries, Eastern U.S. for EDS/Hewlett Packard, and the VP of Global Financial Planning and Strategy, including mergers and acquisitions, for Sunbeam. Deborah has also served as VP of Internal Audit and Business Process Optimization for a national insurance provider.
In addition, Deborah was a senior manager in the audit and business advisory practices of KPMG where she worked for over ten years and served several of the firm’s most prestigious clients in the retail, manufacturing, healthcare, insurance, hospitality, and real estate industries. In addition to traditional audit services, Deborah directed several of KPMG’s business consulting engagements, including business process improvement and systems implementations, initial and secondary offerings, internal controls assessments, and due diligence.
Deborah is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
