Matthew grew up in New York until moving to Florida at the age of 13.  Upon graduating from high school, Matthew attended the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a minor in Marketing.  Matthew also earned a Master of Accounting degree from Nova Southeastern University.  He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the State of Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).

Prior to joining LerroSarbey, Matthew started his career with another local firm where he developed his skills while earning the position of Tax Manager.  He is respected for his expertise in the area of individual and small to mid-sized businesses in a variety of industries.  Matthew also has extensive experience in the areas of mortgage origination and bankruptcy trustee accounting including tax reporting.
